Civil Engineering

Municipal Engineering and Land Use Planning
We employ Professional Engineers (PE), Professional Land Surveyors (LS), Certified Municipal Engineers (CME) and Licensed Professional Planners (PP) to provide expert engineering services to public clientele including municipal and county governments, colleges and universities, boards of education, public libraries, hospitals, and quasi-public communities. Our experience is extensive in planning and public works support and projects have included, in part, water systems, urban streetscapes, parks, higher education campuses and athletic fields.
Construction Services
FJR is adept at preparing, reading, and interpreting design and construction plans and related contract documents. Our team provides dependable and attentive construction administration, inspection, and project representation.
Wastewater
Design support for projects ranging from individual pumping and treatment stations to large-scale master planning concepts. Our team performs preliminary and final process designs, prepares drawings, and bid documents, assists in permitting, and participates in construction administration and field observation.
Structural
Uniquely supported by our inspection and design experience, FJR has the proven ability to develop cost-effective and long-lasting structural building solutions. We employ a progressive design and team-oriented approach working closely with architects, owners, and builders, armed with a thorough knowledge, and understanding of construction materials including steel, concrete, masonry, and timber.
Environmental Consulting
Our Environment Consulting Group is led by a Licensed Site Remediation Professional with over 20 years of experience in the fields of environmental investigation and environmental remediation. We exhibit expertise in environmental site assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial actions for soil, groundwater, and vapor related issues, and remedial implementation of the same issues for industrial, commercial, institutional, and government clients.

Projects are serviced by a team of in-house engineers and technical staff assigned based on the unique demands of each project and the professional’s relevant experience thereto.
Professional services in Florida region are provided from our North Port, FL office. Professional services in the New Jersey region are provided from our Totowa, NJ office. Whatever your needs in the New Jersey or Florida region, we are conveniently located for quick responses with minimal travel time and cost. `
Your project management team will consist of an in-house engineer(s) and, depending on the demands of a particular assignment, technical support staff who will be available on an as needed basis. We carefully maintain a network of professional engineering experts, who are retained and assigned to projects based on relevant work experience.
